Pastor Peter Doseck
My life story is the same as that of so many others who have tried to live their lives without Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. For me, it was in the midst of a great struggle, confusion, and a failing marriage, that I received Jesus as my personal Savior.

One Sunday morning I went into my bedroom and knelt down in front of the closet door. There, I simply told Jesus that I didn't know much, but I knew I needed Him to forgive me of all my sins, and to come into my life.

At the moment I felt nothing, and I told Jesus, "I believe You heard me, so I am going to get up from here and tell everyone I'm saved, so You might as well treat me like I am." And so I went…believing. Jesus has been true to me and I praise Him for it.

In 1981, I left Ross Aluminum Foundries in Sidney, Ohio, to enter the ministry full-time as an evangelist. At the same time, my wife and I opened the Christian Spinner Bait Shop in our home.

By March of 1982, we held our first church service in our home with one member attending. As we have continued to pursue God, He has continued to expand our vision and our church community.

I long to see people healed and have their lives changed through the ministry of the Word of God. My desire for our community, and other churches where I've been asked to minister, is to sow seeds of faith to spark the miraculous in people's hearts.

Pastor Phyllis Doseck
Phyllis grew up the daughter of a pastor/evangelist. Her father made sure the family was in church every time the doors were opened. Unfortunately, the church's beliefs were so strict, majoring on
the outward instead of on the heart, that when Phyllis grew up she rebelled against everything that had to do with God.

Soon after marrying Peter Doseck on January 16, 1971, her marriage turned sour. Phyllis tried to return to her faith in God, but her mistaken idea of who God was made that difficult.

In January of 1977, Phyllis began working at the Copeland Corporation where a Christian co-worker began to witness to her, explaining that God looked on the heart, not on the outward appearance. Phyllis could see by the fruit in her new friend's life that God was not the tyrant she had grown to believe He was.

In September of that same year, Phyllis heard the news that Egypt and Israel had signed a peace treaty.

Because she had been raised in church, she was familiar with the verse that says, "…when they shall say, 'peace and safety,' then destruction cometh upon them…" (1 Thessalonians 5:3). Fear gripped Phyllis' heart because she was convinced that the rapture was soon to follow, and she wanted to be sure to go! She immediately went into the bathroom and asked Jesus to forgive her and to save her. Pastor Phyllis laughs as she remembers, "I knelt down at the holy stool and got saved!"

As Co-Pastor, Phyllis is actively involved in the administration of OBMCC and plays a key role in ministering to the congregation, in community outreach, overseeing prayer warriors, visitation and teaching. She also travels and ministers in several churches across America.
