An outreach event will be held in Sidney on Saturday, September 13 from noon to 2:00 pm on the court square. Volunteers are needed to pass out flyers on Friday, September 12 from 10:00 am - noon, and help is also needed on the day of the event. Fall Fest
Fall Fest will be held today after service. There will be flag football, volleyball, corn-hole toss and much more family fun. At 1:00 pm the Bengals/Browns game will be shown outdoors on the giant screen. We will eat tailgate style, meaning the church will supply pulled pork sandwiches and hot dogs, but you will need to bring your own tailgate sides, snacks and drinks (enough for your family and some extra to share for tailgate wanderers.) There will be a special women’s event inside the church during the game, so check back for more details. Plan to bring lawn chairs and toys for your kids, and be ready for a great time of fellowship!

Water Baptism
The last water baptism of the season will take place after service at the pond today. All baptism candidates must attend a mandatory class at 9:00 am in room 310 in the west hallway. Be sure to bring a towel and a change of clothing if you intend to be baptized, and be sure to wear dark clothing. |

Tea Time is for mothers of all ages and all walks of life. Whether you are a full-time mom working hard at home, or a career mom on the go; even a mom whose kids have left the nest - everyone is welcome for a time of faith building, fellowship and fun! Mega SLAM!
Families and children of all ages don't want to miss the 2008 Mega SLAM: "Out of This World!" It's one night only, including sloppy games, hilarious skits, zany puppets and characters, awesome music, incredible prizes, and Mega-crazy fun as children (and moms and dads) learn about the Word of God. It's a roller coaster - high octane - action packed night geared for the whole family. (There will even be some prizes for the adults!) Kids are asked to wear their best and/or cheesiest Sci-Fi costumes (please no demonic or ungodly representations). Mega SLAM will take place in the main sanctuary of the church. Parents are encouraged to stay and join in the fun. And be sure to bring as many non-churched kids as possible. Make sure your kids invite their friends and neighbors because it will be SLAM-azing! |
